description on back of card:

Some trees can only grow in community.  They need the roots of other trees around them, entwined with their own, in order to remain standing.  If they grew in isolation, their own roots would be too weak and shallow and would be insufficient for anchoring them.  I believe we are very like these trees and we were not intended to live in isolation.  We need community around us, to strengthen us and help us stand.

"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.  For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion.  But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.  And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him.  A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart."  Ecclesiastes 4:9,10, & 12

"Since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others."      Romans 12:5
