For thousands of years there was a desperate longing for
the Savior to come. Prophets foretold His coming – His
birthplace, His lineage, even His name, Emmanuel, which
means “God with us.” He would bring light to those walking
in darkness, set captives free, bind up the brokenhearted,
and wash hearts clean. He would transform hearts and
make them good, all for His glory and honor.

“‘She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.’ Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: ‘Behold the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son and they shall call His name Emmanuel.’
Which translated means, ‘God with us.’”
